How We Work
Remodeling goes more smoothly when everyone knows the steps. Here’s how CRC typically works with southern NH homeowners—from first conversation to finished space.
Reach Out
Call, email, or use our contact form. Tell us what you’re hoping to improve—kitchen, bath, basement, deck, or exterior—and where you’re located.
Free Consultation / Estimate Visit
We visit your home (or discuss remotely first when appropriate), look at the space, and ask questions about goals, timing, and budget range. This is a conversation, not a high-pressure pitch.
Clear Scope & Proposal
You’ll receive a clear description of the proposed work: what’s included, key allowances or selections as applicable, and timeline expectations we can stand behind based on the scope.
Selections & Preparation
Depending on the project, we help you finalize materials and prepare the home for construction—protection, sequencing, and what you’ll need to do (or not do) before we start.
Construction with Communication
Our team performs the work with attention to quality and job-site respect. We keep you informed about progress and any issues that need a decision.
Walkthrough & Handoff
We review the completed project with you, address punch-list items, and make sure you know how to care for new finishes and systems that were part of the scope.
What We Ask of You
- Share honest goals and constraints early
- Be available for key decisions when selections are needed
- Ask questions—we’d rather clarify than assume
FAQs
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The initial consultation/estimate visit is free.
Do you require a deposit?
Project terms, including any deposit, are explained in your agreement before work begins. (Confirm actual policy before publishing specifics.)
Can you work while we’re living at home?
Most interior projects happen in occupied homes. We’ll discuss dust control, access, and daily routines during planning.
